I am on the shorter side (4’ 11”) with a stocky body— apple shaped and menopausal with heavy, muscular arms and legs and a large bust. Loved this dress. Fit was true to size. It is very comfortable and the fabric was nice and of a good weight. This dress has a built in bra but I wore a strapless bra as well. It would have looked ok without it but, felt I needed a bit more support. Classic understated style Got a lot of complements on it when I wore it to a cocktail and dinner event.
