I bought these pants specifically for my trip to Iceland where I knew it would be cold and windy and these pants exceeded the test! Never once did my legs get cold with these pants on, no matter how cold and strong the wind would blow. I also walked behind a waterfall and apparently got soaked but never even knew it, plus they dried super quick too! I love the fact that you can tighten the bottom so wind can't get up through the ankle area, truly a worthwhile purchase - would highly recommend.
