Love the top, hate the runching

I bought one of these last year and absolutely loved the high chest and low back cut!

I did not like where the runching sat at my waist and actually accentuated my frequently bloated lower abdomen. The elastic for the runching was added on after that top was sewn, so it was simple to use a stitch ripper and remove it. So with that we alteration, I'd rate the top a 6.

I just received a new top last week -again because I love the high chest/low back style so much and I intended to cut out the elastic straight away, but the sewing construction has changed. The elastic for the runching detail was sewn on before the full seam was stitched.

So, I wore the top as is yesterday and was super self conscious. It kept riding up on my abdomen and so really bunched at the waist but exposed my low belly.

I'm going to partially take the seams apart to remove the elastic and then resew the sides shut.

Please OGL, make this style of top without the runching. and in a non-ribbed fabric. Or better yet, actually make a style that's looser at the waist, a little bit longer, and of a flowy non-ribbed fabric. Thanks
