OGL style guide
- High-waist Jeans
High-waist jeans, also known as high-rise jeans, sit at your natural waist, around your belly button. With this style, the waist measurement tends to be narrower as it is measured on the upper part of the waist, nearer the rib. High-waisted jeans were a very popular style in the ‘80s and ‘90s, which led to them being called “mom jeans” in the 2000s. This retro style has come back in style and continues its moment in the fashion trend. High-waisted jeans would look good on all body types, especially hourglass shapes.
Style tip: Our Ripped Taper Jeans pair really well with crop tops like our Ecosy™ Wood Rib Cutaway Tank Top, and they are SO comfortable and stretchy!
- Mid-rise Jeans
Mid-rise jeans sit between your waist and your hips. If you’re not interested in something high-waist and above your belly button, mid-rise jeans may be a go-to for you! Mid-rise jeans will basically never fail you and are always in style.
Style tip: A cropped cardigan is a staple of the season and looks effortless with our Mid-rise Taper Jeans
- Tapered Jeans
Taper fits pants fit close at the ankle, having a leg opening that gradually tightens from the knee down. A tapered jean gradually narrows toward the ankle. It looks good on all body shapes. Tapered jeans are great if you prefer more room in the thighs. It’s a fashion staple, so if you don’t have a pair sitting in your closet, we highly recommend getting our OGL Taper Jeans.
Style tip: A cropped cardigan with our OGL Taper Jeans – modern yet classic
- Straight-leg Jeans
Straight-leg Jeans have a knee measurement that’s about the same as the leg opening measurement. That being said, from the thigh to the ankle, they are about the same size. Straight-leg jeans can be on the baggy side, like boyfriend jeans. We’ve been seeing fashion people like Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner rocking high-waisted straight-leg jeans.
Style tip: Try basic tops with our Ripped Straight Leg Jeans, we bet you’ll be the chicest on the street!Flare Jeans
- Flares Jeans
Flares jeans could have either a high, mid, or low waistband depending on the style. Flares jeans are very similar to bootcut jeans which are fitted at the hips but have a greater flare from the knee. Celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Margot Robbie, and other fashion people have been spotted in flares jeans.
Style tip: A black basic tee works flawlessly with our Front Pocket Flare Jeans
